Sifti Durha-Gill and Divya Srinivasan celebrate the completion of the program in 2015. Both students plan to return to UC Davis to pursue advanced degrees.
The Advanced Chemical Engineering Certificate Program offers chemical engineers, and professionals in related fields, the opportunity to obtain fundamental knowledge and in-depth training in UC Davis graduate-level courses in chemical engineering during the course of two academic quarters (six months).
Participants earn 19-20 units of academic credit in coursework and laboratory sections taught by leading faculty in the UC Davis Department of Chemical Engineering and Materials Science. This program is suitable for chemical engineers, chemists, biomedical engineers, food scientists, petroleum engineers and any other qualified professionals or scholars.
For qualified participants, the certificate program offers an accelerated pathway for the master's and Ph.D. degrees in Chemical Engineering at UC Davis—one of the top 30 graduate school programs in the country according to U.S. News and World Report 2014 rankings.
An innovative program for chemical engineers and other professionals seeking advanced training in chemical engineering and an accelerated pathway to graduate-degree programs
